"The Chang-Dong Lee Collection Box Set" 2002) Are the Extras subtitled?

Are the extras on this now OOP box set subtitled?

Formerly known as a novel writer, Lee Chang-dong successfully landed in the movie industry. These three films are all he directed and highly claimed by both critics and audience.

Disc 1: Green Fish
- Runtime: 111mins
- Subtitles: English, Korean

Disc 2: Peppermint Candy
- Runtime: 130mins
- Subtitles: English, Korean, Japanese

Disc 3: Looking for Green Fish and Peppermint Candy
- Making Film
- OST
- Photo Gallery
- In Production
- Outtakes
- Trailers
- TV Spot
- In Film Festival
- In Audition

Disc 4: Oasis

- Subtitles: English, Korean

Disc 5: Looking for Oasis

I liked his OASIS film quite a bit and was considering investing in this set from a source which is selling it at a premium price. I may still get it due to its collectablily. Any opinions regarding PEPPERMINT CANDY and his GREEN FISH?

I can't answer your question, but I thought the set was out of print, where are you finding it for sale?

KoreaPop.com lists it at $99.99. You're right, normally everywhere else its an "Out of Stock" item from all other venues. I've order OOP sets from them before and they've come through, although you have to be willing to pay their price. I'm mulling this one over till I hear what squidget says about the supplement "titles" etc.

Just checked both of the special features discs and neither had any subtitles (not even Korean).

Thanks squidget and dmkb. I think I may still invest in this set if I can get it from KoreaPop.com. Even though most of these films are available seperately either in Region 1 or 3 editions, just trying to get this OOP box set intrigues me.

As a follow-up to my December posting would like to inform those who wish to acquire this long OOP set that it finally arrived in my mailbox after a very long wait from KoreaPop.com. I'm always amazed that most times these guys come through (at exhorbitant prices). So, if you don't mind waiting over six weeks to get an item, try them. So far I've acquired both "Arahan" and the aforementioned set which normally aren't available elsewhere. Beware...they take long to ship out their items. Nuff said.
