TWILIGHT SAMURAI R2 Question

I've got the R1 of Twilight Samurai and it is pretty godawful. Does anyone here own the R2 and is the image 16x9 enhanced? Any other thoughts or comments on the R2 or any other region someone might own? Thanks.

I own a couple of versions of this and my favourite is the Hong Kong disc reviewed by DVDTalk

$18.95 shipped from CDWow.net or around the same price from DDDHouse.com

If you want subtitled extras you'll need to try another version. It's worth noting people seem to either like the HK disc or think it looks different to the Japanese release. I don't have a problem with it.

Check out the 2 pages of reviews here

I have the R2 LE from Japan. It came in a sturdy art box with a digipak and a book inside. The DVD itself has a very nice anamorphic transfer, and options for Dolby Digital 5.1, DD 2.0, or DTS sound.

The only thing I don't like is that the DVD's main menu partially spoils a scene from late in the movie (I hate when they do that).
