Need a region free DVD player and the ability to copy to a VHS tape
I would like to get my girlfriend a region free (code free) DVD player for Christmas. She is a foreign language teacher and she wants to be able to watch North American and German DVDs on the same player.
Here is the catch.
She would also like to be able to copy certain German DVDs to a VHS tape to show in class on the school's VCR. The problem is are the things that may make it hard to copy, i.e. macrovision.
What is the best way, if possible, to make this all happan. Are there region free DVDs that don't have the macrovision (or whatever) built in?
