I received the same email response from CD-Wow with the 10/09/04 date. Very disappointing! Is it really shipping from Amazon UK?

I just placed my order @ Amazon.uk

They mean the 10th of September, not the 9th of October.

I was wondering about that since some places do month/day while others do day/month.

Thanks for the date correction. It was a downer to think October 9, but if it is 9/10, then I'm a happy boy all over again.

I can't wait to watch this. It is one of my most anticipated films of the year.

I unfortunately also ordered "Football Factory" and "Spaced" which are both coming out on the 27th of Sept, so I'm not expecting "Shaun" until the beginning of Oct - drat!

Yeah I had a big order placed, Hellraiser Puzzle Box, Spaced set, Shaun of the Dead, The Card Player, and Freaked. Eventually I decided I couldn't wait and set them to ship as they come in. :p

Did you order through Amazon or CD-WOW? CD-WOW has free shipping so I usually just order each item seperately.
My SoTD shipped, but obviously my SPACED order has not shipped yet.

You know what? Great movie, but the transfer is more than a little shoddy - it generally looks good, except for jaggies everywhere and a bunch of compression problems here and there.

This should have been two discs - they tried to cram too much on one disc.

(btw, mine didn't have an insert - is this par for the course?)

No Universal dvds have insserts anywhere in the world as far as I know, according to Universal, people dont want them! yeah right!

I wish I could have gone to the signing, but it would have been a little tough (not to mention expensive) from the US. ;-)
