I bought a sealed copy of Hero today for 15 bucks. It came in an amber slipcase, with a shot of an army/sky. The keepcase is like the slipcase but pink/red-ish. Also the DVD is pink, with some of the actors. Oh and no insert

is it legit?

Can't offer you an answer on whether it's a bootleg or not but I recently bought a copy just like yours. It seems to match the HKFlix picture and description and plays fine so I'm not overly worried.

which region/country/distributor/store did you get it from?

there's a few different releases, and while yours sounds nothing like mine, that doesn't mean it is a boot.

I got it from a store inside an Asian Mall in the Bay Area. They sold a bunch of DVDs and VCDs in their store. My copy looks exactly like the copy on the hkflix site, I was just wondering if it was legit, because another poster thought his was bootleg. Mine plays on all DVD players, and has no subs during the opening and closing parts.
