I bought mine at amazon.fr

I'd say Returner is actually a good bet... Not a great movie, but fun... The R1 was mastered from a digital outsource and looks awesome too...

Just did some looking around. amazon.fr has the special edition of Crying Freeman for what amounts to about $40. I got the extra crappy R2 PAL edition from amazon.co.uk for $11 instead.

As they say...you got what you paid for...
The French disc is one of the top notch releases in terms of technical specs...a stunningly superb presentation...too bad that the film is not my cup of tea...

If fluent in French....

My movie watching has typically been a matter of quantity over quality so the $11 was worth it I think. This forum is slowly turning me around, though.
