Anyone having any problems with DVDAsian?

I ordered Ju-on 2 from them on 4/20.The item has been stuck in "processing" since then. So I tried to call DVDAsian today, at two separate times during the day, and the phone just rang. No answering maching, no voice mail, and no answer.

I sent an email inquiring about the order but I'm a little concerned. Not that my order hasn't shipped, because I can just get it from somewhere else, and they haven't charged me yet. What I am worried about is if there is something screwy going on over there, I don't want my credit card number in the wrong hands...

So anyone order anything from them lately? Anyone experiencing similar problems?

Jeremy

These questions might be more appropriate in the Store Forum.

Personally, I haven't had problems with them on the one order I placed.

I've actually spent over $500 there over the period of about 4 months, and I have never had a problem. Just the opposite infact, they always ship my orders out the same day (or the next, if it is late), and I get my orders in 2 days.

Once a case came damaged (Tube, comes in this fragile plastic case). I emailed them, and they had me mail just the case back, and refunded me the shipping both ways, and sent me a new case. The whole process took under a week!

edit: Also, sometimes their website is a little slow on updating your order status, so it might of already shipped.

Are you sure the item was in stock, or even released when you ordered it?

I've ordered many things from them and I've never had a problem - I usually recieve my orders from them in just one or two days after ordering.

Well that sucks. Not sure what to tell you, since I have had nothing but fantastic service from them.

I actually placed an order last night, it included 1 pre order item, and the rest were items in stock. As per their listings, they say they wait for all items to be in stock before shipping. I have however had them ship items seperately in the past, if I had pre orders included.

I will let you know if/when my order ships.

Same here. They're actually one of the better online retailers I have dealt with.

jrutz,
Have you recieved a reply from them yet? I just emailed them about an hour ago to add something on to my order, and they already replied. If you haven't, you should try sending another email. Perhaps your original email was lost.

I haven't heard anything yet - I'll resend. What email address did you send it to? [email protected]?

Yep, that is the same email address. Let me know if they respond, as they have already emailed me back twice (to confirm my addition to my order).

Whew - got a reply today. Everything looks to be taken care of nicely. They said they had an ISP problem, so they fixed the order and are shipping soon.

Great!

Yeah if that's the phone number on the site that's the one I was calling. Maybe they don't have the phones installed yet or something. Anyway, problem solved!
