Shipping for 1-5 dvds is 29,90 Brazilian (whether you order 1 or 5)...which equals about $10.00 US.

In other words, wait until you've got a few that you want...THEN place an order.

How long does it take for DVDWorld shipments to arrive? My 1st order with them shipped on Feb. 12th and I'm still waiting... Do they use donkey post or something?

It usually takes a couple of weeks, I believe.

You're also in Canada...that may change some things.

And technically, it has only been 11 business days since your order.

Does anyone have any recommendation from this site? I just went region free and want to build up my collection. I'm already going to get Eyes Wide Shut and Ed Wood, and I was thinking about Robocop if it's the director's cut. Also is there an English site or do I just have to translate everything when I check out?

You're pretty much going to have to translate everything. But they're a great site. Just keep that translator open and it's pretty much self-explanatory.

There are a couple of things on the checkout form that are abbreviation that I can't translate. What are the CEP and CPF/CNPJ fields?

CEP is zip code,

CPF/CNPJ is something like your SSN, but you don't need this for international order

I order from this company last night and today I got an email requesting this information:

As this is your first order with DVD WORLD we need the documents bellow:
- an written authorization for your Credit Card deb
- a copy front and back of your Credit Card
- a copy your Credit Card billing statement with your Billing Address and your Bank or Credit Card company's letterhead clearly visible.

Is this normal procedure? It seems like a lot to ask and plus I use a debit card as a credit card so I don't really have a billing statement all I would have is a bank statement.

Also how long does the economic shipping usually take. It says 30 days, I'm wondering if it really takes that long

yeah I had to do this too. A bank statement worked. I blackened most of my numbers (account, card, etc). make sure that your address is the same in all of them. As for the authorization, there is a print out that you need to fill out and send as well. if you send the email with the attachments to the dvdworld email rather than the atendete@ email it will be faster because every time I've tried sending it to that email, it never worked i had to send it to the other one. Shipping wise is about 2-3 weeks i would say from my experience.
