Finding Nemo Japan R2-DTS-ES

Looks like Finding Nemo is coming out in Japan on June 18th with a DTS-ES track.
Better news is that the track appears to be in English, a 2-disc set, Disney has lowered there list price to 2940 yen and Amazon.co.jp has it for 20% off.

http://www.amazon.co.jp/exec/obidos/...812713-2258609

Enjoy.

I can verify (since I bought this recently) that yes the English track is in DTS-ES.

I have pre ordered the Region 2 Japanese disc.

Right now I am trying to figure out who costs me more money-rexinnih or pro-bassoonist.

Why did you pre-order it? You could've gotten it from other regions now? Probably for a cheaper price.

Just curious...

I was already getting stuff from Amazon and I wasn't put off by paying approx. $21.50 for it. I have never been disappointed by a disc from Japan. I wish I could say the same for the other countries and regions.

Is the DTS that much better than the 5.1 on the R1? Anyone have both to compare?

Posted this earlier in the Nemo "boxset" thread, but it seems relevant here too...

The listing for the movie on CDJapan (misspelled as "Nimo") seems to indicate that the DTS track will be for the Japanese dub only:

http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=VWDS-4874

I guess the Korean edition remains the best version.
