Here is the link to the set. I don't have the proper fonts installed, so I can't read any of the info on the page.

Even if you have the proper fonts, it won't really help you considering the whole thing's in Japanese.

The sucker's 11000 yen, so I don't know if I'd want to spent $100+ on it. What the hell is this? There are 2 of these boxes, DVD Box 1 and DVD Box 2. Oh, well, I've already got 3 versions of this movie and I'll buy the extended edition in a week or so, so I think I'll forgo this particular DVD.

Those two boxsets are compilations of Jet Li's earlier films, nothing to do with Hero at all.

FYI, it is not a wooden box but Cardboard. I have it. Probably a mis-translation.

Oddly, I never did get a confirm email for my order, but when I go to the site and plug in the order number it says it shipped on the 17th.

I guess I'll find out in a couple weeks.

That is an incredible set. Love this ----> "Removable nameplate (which can be replaced with your own custom plate)". Very nice.

But not as crazy as this!

I'd like to meet the guys that pay the, almost, $1,000 price tag on this one.

You know, while both these sets are so outrageous I would never be able to purchase them, it causes me to wonder does the distribution/produciton company actually sell enough of these to break even or make a profit? I guess I would just assume so because such boxsets continue to be produced.

Either way, I still really like seeing all these crazy sets and packaging they come up with. Oh one day I'll be able to afford such extravagances.

I would totally buy the Godzilla set, but the stupid thing doesn't have any English subs. Toho would make a lot more money if they put English subs. Well, regardless, Kitamura's Godzilla should have a nice set and I'll buy that one.

By the way, what movies are in that war classics set?

Looks like it is a lot more expensive than the other places that had it, but I guess if it is a last resort...
