I just ordered mind from Sensasian. Just stumbled on it while looking for nothing in particular. I'm surprised they still have some left. I'm so happy, though.

Should have checked this thread earlier, I would've bought it before.

I've known Sensasian for awhile and I think they're respectable. I've never heard any glaring complaints about them. (YesAsia is charging 210?!?! I wonder if they have any purchases.)

It says at the bottom of sensasian, "order and get an upgrade to express courier shipping." I don't see anything about that when I check out. Anyone know?

As long as I get my copy, the express shipping doesn't bother me too much. What I'm curious about is that in the standard version, it says 112 minutes, but the LE box says 112+ minutes. Also, the LE says it's 2 disks. What the hell's on the second disk?

That's what I'm curious about.

Hmmm, I haven't heard anything about the Japanese LE having a second disc. I think that the only extras are the Kubrick Be@rbrick, T-shirt, katana, booklet and box.

The Japanese print is approx. 2 minutes longer than the US print. Both the standard and limited edition discs themselves should be exactly the same. Of course, if I'm wrong and the LE disc has anything extra, great, but I'm not counting on it.

Hey Cultshock,

Were you the one who posted about the "Mook" book? If so, is it worth getting. It's available at Yesasia for $17.

http://us.yesasia.com/en/SrAllDept.a...&str=kill+bill

Thanks.

Hi,
Yes, good memory, that was me. Its a nice book and I'm sure it would be a hell of alot nicer if I could read Japanese better. It has tons of interviews, articles, etc. that I wish I could read. But it has a good selection of colour photos that of course, need no translation. Actually though, over this book, I would recommend the Japanese Kill Bill theatre program. It has less pages, but it is a larger format with some very nice full page colour photos from the film. It shouldn't be too hard to track down on ebay for the same price as this "mook" or less. But if you are a fan of the film, you really can't go wrong with either of these books.

The Kill Bill "mook" is available at amazon.jp for about 9 bucks US plus shipping.

There are about 100 pages in the book. Some are double page colour picture spreads, but there are a lot of pages with mostly Japanese text and little else, but it's still a nice book.

Looks like sensasian.com is following YesAsia's lead. Their now charging $129.99 for the LE box. I'm sure it's going to keep going up now.

BTW, I noticed on the specs that it says it's a 2 disc set. It was mentioned on an earlier post, but I didn't notice it until now.

http://sensasian.com/cgi-bin/sensasi.../View/V8771J-D

It also looks like HMV is sold out also.

I saw somewhere when they were describing the box the t-shirt is an "L" size. I'm in the same situation as you. It looks like my wife is getting a new t-shirt also.

Just to add to the boxset drool ... I am in Tokyo right now and the box set and the reg version are HEAVILY advertized all over the place ... too bad I have to leave 5 days before release date ...

maybe I get very friendly with some HMV or Tower people before that

Any other jap R2s I should go for while I am here like that 4 hour "Dune" thing ?? or a heavily pixilated "deep throat" ?

Thanks for the t-shirt reply rexinnih

The longer TV version of Dune, aside from being a heavily butchered abomination, is widely available in Europe and Australia for less money than the Japanese edition.

Thanks...used the 500YEN coupon...sweet deal! Only paid 62.30 with that coupon.

I also chose the cheapest shipping. If it is like last time, I'll have it in a week (not the 3-4 weeks as they state)
