Hey Guys
I really need some help here....I bought a Harmony DS 8800 DVD player today for 89 bucks from five star laser in San Gabriel here in California....The store told me this player was region free.....however, the guy failed to mention you need to unlock the region coding....the store told me there is a menu to unlock this, but the guy couldn't remember when I called him after I got home.....Any of you know of this player and how to fix this problem? I bought 2 region 3 DVD's that I really want to play, but I'm stuck right now..... However, I did notice the player can play PAL Region 1 DVD's.

Again it's a Harmony DS 8800 DVD player.....

Nope, and I can't find anything on www.dvdrhelp.com about the player. Might want to follow up with the store again, or post a message at www.nerd-out.com and ask there.
