REgion 2 SLAM DUNK ANIME BOX SET
I'm wondering if anyone has bought this and also if its going to be released for any other region for a cheaper price? I found this on www.amazon.co.jp for between 74,000 to 88,000 yen (depending who the character on the box is I think). I can't fathom myself dropping 700 to 800 dollars on this series, as much as I love it.
I would love to hear some news on a region 1 release or region anything....

There's an R3 release for Slam Dunk. Japanese & Cantonese dub. Traditional Chinese subtitle.
Here's a post that gives more info and speculation on it.
It's being released in 3 boxes. The first two boxes are $59.99 & $49.99, and the third one is supposed to be released soon.
