That's cool - so the US release must not be too far off? I guess even if it is on its way, there's no way it'll only be 35 bucks shipped. Good bargain as well.

Current word of mouth suggests November or even Xmas for the R1 release so these R4 releases should be a good 3-4 months in advance.

Plus, I doubt that the R1 version is going to be $30. More like $45-$50 I'm guessing. I'm pre ordering the R4 set!

Thanks for the info!

I'm waiting until I know which set to get. I've been waiting far too long for these films to hit DVD to get hasty now and order an inferior version.

Why does it list "HOVER BOARD TEST on location" as a disc one extra. I mean..I haven't seen the movies in a while, but I'm pretty sure the hover boards were in part 2.... so how reliable is this info? I'm guessing not very.

EDIT - Also say's it's availavle Aug 21. Accurate?

All three movies in one set in dolby and DTS with a whole heap of features!!

REALLY cheap at $51.95 AUS dollars which is around $26 USD for all 3 films.

For more info check out this link to a R4 store plus if you join as a member you get a discount on the title.

Does this German Edition (coming in September) have the same specs as the Australian disc and what Region is Germany anyway? Are they PAL or NTSC?

Germany is PAL R2 I believe. The specs are likely the same, but I haven't checked. I'd go with the Aussie disc unless you have a reason to go with the German disc. The R4 discs should be cheaper too.

Can someone help me with a rundown on all the Regions?

Region 0: No Restriction – Worldwide availability, playing on all machines.
Region 1: Canada, USA, US Territories.
Region 2: UK, Europe, Middle East (including Egypt).
Region 3: Southeast Asia, East Asia (including Hong Kong).
Region 4: Central America, South America, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Pacific Islands, Caribbean.
Region 5: Russian Federation, Africa (not Egypt), North Korea, Mongolia.
Region 6: China.

And which ones are PAL and which are NTSC?

Are U.S., Canada and Japan (btw, where is Japan in this list?) the only NTSC regions?

Thanks in advance.

Japan is also 2. And Code 3 also usually uses NTSC as does China.
