I have seen Shaolin soccer. I didn't like it too much. I am not a fan of modern kung fu flicks. I prefer more like Once upon a time in china.
Are there any Romace of three kingdom movies or series availiable in DVD?

-early age of Peking Opera styled films (and the Wong Fei Hung serials)
-The late 60's-early 80's old school, 'chop socky' kung fu film
-the 80's modern action film (like Police Story, Yes Madam, Eastern Condors)
- the early 90's (often period setting) wirework films like Once Upon a Time in CHina and Iron Monkey
- and now the.. well, I guess you'd call it the pop star, CGI age since martial films barely exist anymore.

I think Slumbering Fist is absoultely right... In fact, I would go so far to say that "The Legend of Zu" can hardly be called a martial arts film, as all the so-called actions are merely blurred CGI movements that one cannot even observe properly.

Well, I guess I understand what all of you are saying. What I really want is movies set in old time, like iron monkey, storm rider, and kung fu cult master. I hope this clears bit.

Gabe, you can find Legend of Zu on Ebay, unless you have some reason why you won't bid there you can still find the movie. I just won my copy for 14.00 US plus 6.00 shipping and handling. Not bad for brand new.

word of advice...
STAY AWAY FROM AVENGING FIST!!! at all cost, I thougt it was gonna be great but, Sammo wasn't Sammo, Yuen Biao was alright, and Ekin was just in there for a while, this reminded me of the 2 other video_game to movie effort, what were they thinking.....
I watched 2002 after this one, and I liked it way better, some corny shots but it was pretty cool, not too much cgi but some nice fight scenes and the story line was pretty alright, wasn't original but way better than avenging fist...

avenging fists did suck. i watched it last night, boring as hell, the effects suck, the fights suck, the only good thing was yuen biao but they made him suck in that movie.
