Need help. Where do you buy your Asian DVDs/VCDs?
I ordered some VCDs in Hong Kong last year, via the internet, but I can't remember the name of the online store...
Where do you guys usually get your DVDs/VCDs from when you order them from Asia?
Any sites recommended? Anys ites to avoid? Let me know! Thanks for your help!
Leila :-)

I dont buy any VCDs because of the quality, but there is a guy on ebay that sells hundreds at all times. He also has an online store, located in Hong Kong. I dont have his info, but if you search ebay, you can definately find him.

I have a ton of VCD's if interested
I have purchased quite a few VCD's over in HK and now have DVD's for most (over 75), so I would be glad to send u a list if you are interested in trading or taking them all at a VERY reasonable price - send an e-mail to [email protected]
Thanks,
B

This probably belongs in the International forum, but for most people the best place to buy HK DVD's is http://www.dddhouse.com

For purely DVDs, HKFlix.com is good, and they have a DVD Talk link: http://www.hkflix.com/xq/asp/aid.007782/qx/home.htm
PokerIndustries.com sells both DVDs and VCDs and is also good: http://www.pokerindustries.com

Try this place http://www.yesasia.com/
They have a big selection on everything from movies to magazines. They also have some of the lowest prices I have seen online.

I've placed several orders with www.Hivizone.com. I've always got the order, but sometimes it takes a while (a month using SpeedPost). I've asked for shipping confirmation, but never recieved any. Prices and eventual delivery keep me coming back.

I've made many purchases through www.videomas.com and www.dddhouse.com I've never had any problems and both stores were quick to solve any issues. Very good response times.

For stores in Asia ,the big 4 places in HK would be:
http://www.dddhouse.com
http://www.hivizone.com
http://www.dvdshelf.com
http://www.coolashop.com
All of them are generally recommended, though they all have their little quirks. I personally use DDDHouse for my DVD shopping unless I'm in HK in which case I generally buy from the stores. I've become friends with the owner Johnny and he is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet.
