Directed by Luc Besson, its in anamorphic widescreen & has DD 5.1/DTS 5.1. No subtitles, but (from what I read) the film itself is mostly wordless; the sequences have short titles and there is an intro at the start of the film. Unsure about the dvd 'extras' though. Amazon.de link

Another docu from R 2/PAL land:
Microcosmos: Le peuple de l'herbe (Mikrokosmos)(1996)
DD 5.1 & 1.66:1 Letterboxed on the German disc
DD 5.1,DTS 5.1 & 1.77:1 Anamorphic (pan & scan too I think) on the French 2-disc set
No subtitles on either release, but film is mostly without narration.

Updated and also added another from Mexico (R1):
Herod's Law (La Ley de Herodes) (1999) - Spanish with English subs
