I forgot about this thread (sorry), and have already used the B&N deal 3 times. In every instance I was able to buy B&N gc's at the supermarket first in order to get gas/rewards points and then use those gc's to pay for the B&N gc deal in-store. Though I've heard that this isn't accepted at every store, despite there being nothing in the rules against it, so I'd advise asking first.

Speaking of which, Vons supermarket has a deal where you buy $100 in any gc(s) and they give you a $10 coupon, that must be used by the 6th, that gives you $10 off a $25 grocery purchase (exclusions apply).

Ralphs is/was offering up to 0.40 cents off gas as part of their rewards program when you spend $100 in any gc(s) on a single transaction. Normally it's 0.20 cents, and I don't know when this expires?

I love these kind of promos. What is the best itunes discount? I have seen buy $50 and get a free $10 Walgreens card with some frequency.

It varies, but I think the best I've seen is a $50 card for $40, so 20% off.

LOL on the bump up! - last Christmas I got a couple of the Anderson $20 gift cards - one for my aunt and another for my cousin.
(I choosed the $5.00 gift card as my free item for each purchase - they both decided to give it back to me which I still haven't used.)
We now fast forward to yesterday and an hour or so before this thread was bump up - we stop at Andersons for ice cream and my Aunt used her gift card.
So technically, I paid for the ice cream. (In case your wondering - my cousin used her gift card a few months ago.)

Sorry if this isn't the right place but today I got an email from Amazon stating that if I buy a 50 dollar gift card I get a 10 dollar credit on my account. Anyone ever done this before? Can I send the gift card to myself and get the credit also?
