DVD Talk Gold Edition
Yep I just instantly recycle Giant but I'm keeping my free sub in the hopes that it'll reboot again someday away from being a wannabe hip-hop rag for the suburban set.

Yep, got an issue last week or maybe the week before. I think it only comes every several months.
I want to say Simon Baker was on the cover...I know Tom Brady was on the reverse cover (they always do two covers, and the back part of the magazine covers CBS Sports has the pages inverted).

Possibly... But I was under the impression it was a music magazine. All I seemed to read about instead was the same redundant complaining issue after issue. I guess they enjoy their "whole preaching to the choir" thing. Not that there's anything wrong with that...
On a lighter note, I received a few issues of Blender that I got from this thread and although it's trendier than I'd like, I have found some great music courtesy of the magazine's recommendation. A much better, more focused, and less whiny read.

I had tried the earlier offer get the NY Sun for free (over a year ago) and it never arrived and then a little while ago I got a note from them saying I and select others in my building would recieve a free year's subscription. So it's being delivered for several months now and I regret their impending demise; can't stand their editorial positions but love their cultural coverage. In that regard, I'll miss them.
