Free one-year DIGITAL subscription to the once great GIANT:
http://www.metoosoftware.com/offers/giantmagazine.htm
GIANT is the former coolest magazine in entertainment coverage. From music to movies to TV and games, Giant is dedicated to our readers’ obsession with entertainment and pop culture covering it all with a voice that is clever and witty. Giant is positively packed with things that make you laugh, whether it’s a photo caption, a non–sequitur buried in a DVD review, an absurd juxtaposition of words and images or just something as simple as seeing the word 'monkey' where you least expect it.
Enjoy a 1 year digital subscription to GIANT. No strings attached. You'll never receive a bill. This subscription is yours, compliments of MeTooSoftware.

Some $2 magazines - Time, Reader's Digest, Car & Driver, etc. I have done it in the past for Time and Reader's Digest, but now got 2 free yeaars on those through my Chase 5% cashback card. Comes with automatic renewal, but 6-8 weeks before the end of your first year they send you a card/letter in the mail with details on how to cancel (you call an 800 no. and get a cancellation confirmation no.). Works fine and it's through Bizrate - http://xp3.mybonuscenter.com/pxp/hug/04962544/index.htm
Edit: They used to have Entertainment Weekly, but not anymore unfortunately. Some here on the board, including myself, were lucky enough to get that for $2.

Has anyone seen a free sub for Cook's Illustrated floating around (or a cheap price - though, free is preferred)?
