Bestbuy Sony Dual-Layer DVD+R 25 pack 39.99

Is that a bad deal? I had a 10 dollar coupon so I got them for 29.99....

In my opinion, that's a pretty fair deal.

Getting an extra $10 made it great.

A testing program like CD-DVD Speed will tell you. Do you have Nero? It comes with it in the toolkit.

Ritek d01 media is suspect quality, at best. Typically, people have problems at the layer break with these discs. There is a fair amount of variability between burners and players, though. If you already opened it, give it a try in your player. Maybe it'll play OK. Don't count on it being of archival quality, though.

I have had the best luck with Verbatim DVD+R DL. Usually costs a little more, but I've never made a coaster out of one...
