I guess that's their way of payback for the customers who don't follow the rules and double dip on their coupons.

Just to let everyone on here know, I placed an order for an item that wasn't found in the store and instead of not giving credit for the BBB, they actually sent me a new code to use for a future purchase.

So, how about the customers who are using them according to the rules, is that the payback for them too?

I sent in all mine after that date and so far I have received 133 out of 134 back. Hope you get them soon but I would be a little worried.

Yeah, I'm thinking my roommates did something with them since I was out of town the entire month of October. I've been looking out for lots of McDonalds food and new electronics but havent noticed anything so far.

I didn't get back 2. I think they either got lost in the shuffle on the way there, or on the way back.

I ended up getting back 501/512 (98%). I was hoping to get the last couple, but have not seen any in at least a week. So I assume they got lost in the mail.

I'm missing several hundred, the ones that I sent in printed on my laser printer (inner and outer envelopes). I called McD corporate and they are investigating this issue since they clearly stated that laser printed entries are acceptable as they took the handwriting requirement out of the rules a couple of years ago. I'm supposed to hear more tomorrow, but I'm not banking on it. I did enough handwritten entries and received them all back to where i'm still ahead if I don't get any back. Plus I won a few gift cards on the online game, sweet!!

Do you happen to have that number handy? I'd like to give them a call and see if they could do anything.

Cool to hear of someone winning a giftcard from their online game. The only things I have won are ringtone codes and snapfish codes.

Ditto - and I loved how they had 6 ringtones to choose from.

it'll be even cooler when they show up!!

ringtones were a complete waste.

But I did win around 1750 Snapfish codes... no, that's right codes... somewhere around 44,000 4x6 prints. Now I need to go take some pictures.

Just called McD corporate 800-244-6227.

Spoke to another person in customer care today and they again confirmed that laser printed entries do not violate the rules and that if I've been getting handwritten entries I should be getting the printed ones. I agreed and then asked to talk to someone at the fulfillment center, which the agent said that they don't have that information. I persisted and my case is getting moved up to management level where they will look into it and call me back. I'm not going to bank on that, so I'll call again Friday if I don't hear anything.

Good luck, and keep us posted.

I have a feeling by the time you get your issue resolved, they won't be valid any more. Maybe they'll give you something else of value tho...

I guess I would be most upset if I receive them all back after the redemption period only to find out that I got the Boardwalk or Short Line RR piece. That would be worse than losing a few grand in BBB. We'll see what happens. I mean I have 2 different McD's customer service reps telling me there was nothing wrong with the manner of my entries. I should at least get some compensation for my postage and envelopes, but really should get the value of the BBB plus the value of food prizes, online prizes and the value of potential wins at the big prizes. Not banking on anything at this point though.

I just had an online order for a DVD canceled. Anyone else have this happen? Can I reuse those BBB on something else online?

Was the item not found in the store? If that's the case you can call their toll free number and they'll ship whatever it is to you for free.

Not this one. It was a DVD, which is only suppose to be $3 off, but I had luck with other DVDs online, but I was curious if they finally caught this error online.

So they just flat out cancelled the order on you? Was this an in store pickup or were you having it shipped?

Did you spend more than $200 online in a single day? That may get some orders cancelled. I've ordered thousands of dollars worth of DVDs using BBB and have never had one "just cancelled" w/o a reason. Need more info. I had one DVD that was backordered in my account history for about 9 months and eventually it was cancelled because it was OOP. That was the only instance I lost my BBB.

Thanks for the head's up.

I've pretty much burned through all the BBB I had, maybe $20 or so left.
