Looking for a deal for a wireless router

My current SMC router w/ print server broke on me (wireless doesn't work, but wired ports work). I need the wireless part - does anyone know any deals for a wireless router?

What are the better brands out there nowadays? Linksys? Netgear?

I did a search and found this Looks like it's via MIR.. i'd rather not have a MIR deal, plus parts of the MIR expired already...

Thanks in advance!

Best Buy still has the Linksys 802.11b router on sale for $5 after the two rebates which are valid for 2 more days.

My experiences:

All wireless:
Netgear: had two that both went dead inside a couple hours. Junk.
Linksys: had a 'b' for 2 1/2 years, worked great, just started giving me problems last week.
D-Link: Just bought their 'g' model to replace the Linksys. Works pretty good so far.

Circuit City has had them for $20 AR (or -$20 a few weeks ago) and I believe another major retailer has as well.

Netgear 802.11g Wireless Router

Model: WGR614

I bought this one this week. No rebates, no BB checks, straight up sale of 29.99. Has been working great and easy to set up. Having 'g' makes the range a little better

NO THEY DON'T. I just check online and the DI-624 was $79.99 and the DI-524 was $59.99

Please prove me otherwise

You might want to read my post a little more carefully. "Has had them" was what I said, meaning previously, not necessarily currently. (I got mine at Circuit City during that time for -$20.)

And it does appear another major retailer currently has it for $59.99 less $40 in rebates. So I'll stand by my statement.

Sorry, didn't mean to come off rude....I thought it was a current deal.

I've been putting off picking up a router since I don't have a second computer to worry about networking. But at that price, I may bight the bullet to get online with PSII.

Reviews seemed pretty lackluster on this product....but I guess it's YMMV of course

Day 3 of using it and I am still happy with it. I am not doing anything overly intense with it and have had no problems. I went onto launch and tested it by watching a couple of videos and it streamed perfectly fine over the wireless. I suppose if your into intense gaming that there are better options but for 30 bucks and the ability to go anywhere in the house and surf the net is all I was looking for in the first place. I also like that it comes with little clips that will allow it to stand upright instead of sitting flat on the desk.

My co-workers all got the same one and nobody has had any problems with their's. The setup has been easy to tweak as I know have it setup so that the wireless is locked down so the only thing that can get on it is my laptop's mac address with the designated security key.

Sorry, I was talking about and looking at the 524, not the 624. The 524 is the model I got a couple weeks ago.
