$750 off laptop purchase of $1499 or more at Dell

Surprised there isn't already a thread on this. Starting at 8am CST on 4/13. Go to www.gotapex.com/ and scroll down a bit for all the details. It is limited to the first 10,000 orders, so should end quickly.

1505 shipped..whoa....you must have got it loaded and then some.

I almost got one for $880 shipped, but I passed....not sure what I really want yet. The 6000, 700m, 9300.

700m seems nice, but seems almost TOO small

48 minutes. some ppl on other sites are buying 5-10 lappy to resell. i hope ebay is flooded with dell lappies that the price would be the same as using the $750 off coupon for those that missed out on the deal.

Well don't look at me, I only bought the one, and that hurt my wallet enough.

Today I went to Dell Small Business and ordered a 1150 Laptop for $724 + tax. It has a $150 mail in rebate (so effectively $574 + tax).

Specs:
Mobile Pentium 4 2.8 GHz
15 in XGA
512MB SDRAM
40G Hard Drive
CD/DVD ROM
Integrated wireless network card

It is advertised on the web site for $599 (including the rebate). The web site also offers $25 off for calling in to their toll free number to place the order.

I actually cancelled my order (700m right around $750). Truth be told, this wasn't that great of a deal. Stick around FW, you'll see that.

i thought of getting the 6000 series, but I think a new model is coming soon.So better hold on for a while.Anyway 10,000 sold out in 48 minutes means a lot of Ebay dealers out there.Dell should make this 1 per household deal! Then it would last a bit longer.
