They got me, too - only $7.95, but pisses me off. About two weeks ago I got an email saying my order info was sent to their refund department, but I;m not expecting anything to happen.

Their website says they are here in NYC, but I can't find any phone or address info - I'd happily storm their office if I knew where to go.

Incidentally, magazinepricesearch.com, in the vendor section, says they no longer list them due to the number of consumer complaints.

Yeah, same here. I'd personally prefer to receive a refund on my free subscription than a bloody tabloid magazine that's the complete opposite format.

A few years back there was a magazine I had a free subscription too (can't recall the name) that ceased publication and offered Entertainment Weekly as a replacement. Anyway, they only offered me a one-year EW sub despite the fact that I had several years left on the other. So I called in, canceled my sub, and got a refund check for around $80. Looks like I'll be trying that again.

That site is screwy...I looked up STARLOG (one of my favorites, but VERY expensive) and it said it ceased publication in 2006. Guess I don't know how to explain this, then:

I imagine you could call EW's customer service and just have the subscriptions combined.

I'm going to try the "sign up now, combine subs later" phone call. Even if it doesn't work, 6 months of two a week isn't so bad in order to get 3 years at this price.

I already have a 1 yr. sub coming from pc mag, if i sign up again will they just tack on another yr to the sub. or will they send me duplicates of the same issue? i had this problem with maxim, fhm, and stuffi believe in the past.
