I'm going to be honest, making this kind of "special edition" (I know it's not really a special edition) that limited kinda sucks. They'll sell through though so good for them.

The good news is that the only things that are limited are the packaging and poster. There’ll be a regular edition a little later on.

I never know which goes first, the not so good news or the good news. Well lets start with the not so good news.

After the announcement of the Kamen Rider Standard Edition, we got quite a bit of feed back that given the difference in price to the Elite and it still including the same BD that it was not justified to pay that much extra so we are making the following changes to the Standard Edition.

a). Kamen Rider World will be removed.

b) Amemiya Interview will be removed.

All the other features will still be on the Standard Edition BD. We apologize for this but we wanted to get this out there now so people have plenty of time to cancel orders if they wish.

And now for the good news, we have completed the temp art for the mb-storefront exclusive of Kamen Rider Dyad. This version will only be available through the storefront and will include extras that will not be on the standard edition.

Already we have liner notes, special packaging, numbered and commentaries lined up. There will be announcement we hope shortly with some big announcement on who will be interviewed.

It's a mess.

I'll admit to being annoyed that I paid $69.99 for the LE when the standard edition was listed at $29.99 with substantively all the same stuff.

But the problem for me isn't the pricing of the standard edition or wanting people who missed out/couldn't justify the exorbitant price to be deprived of any content; I just wish the limited edition hadn't been so friggin' expensive.

My preferred path forward would be to include everything in the standard edition, don't price the next LE so high, and maybe send a coupon to those of us who ordered the first LE.

Yeah removing stuff after the fact to make the LE more attractive isn't the best solution...
