I gotta say the motorcycle chase sequence in Gemini Man is absolutely thrilling. I was on edge. Every turn of the motorcycle, every brake, it was just in your face goodness.

So what’s your favorite or what you think is best extended sequence in a movie, currently, on Blu-ray 3D?

Probably the floating tray in The Bubble, and tons of stuff in Comin' at Ya.

Tip of the skyscraper coming at the screen in Megamind and the ghost effect in Paranormal Activity 5 both come to mind but I own neither of The Bubble or Gemini Man so I guess I am going to have to pick those up.

Oh and most of Coraline.

Well, I almost bought Gemini Man... until I got to the shipping page...

Not buying that one til they can do it high frame rate. Saw it at the theater and the 3D wasn't really spectacular, but the theater presentation was already subpar with a dark picture among other issues.

There's a scene in Tormented where some people are watching Shock Labyrinth in a theater, and a floating stuffed rabbit floats out of the screen and comes to rest at eye level in front of their faces. Of course, it also comes to rest in front of OUR faces, and it's the best 3D effect I think that I've ever seen. I often pause the Blu-ray at the point where the rabbit is floating, and it's almost uncanny how close and real it seems. The movie as a whole isn't much to write home about, but that scene and that particular shot are astounding.

Gemini Man does look spectacular in Blu-ray 3D from what i saw thus far. Ang Lee definitely has a flair for style and vision, even if movie so so...

Another quite stunning sequence, music included is the Yondu/Rocket/Groot escape from Taserface sequence with his Yaka arrow in Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2. That was a sight. Popout at first glimpse then a lot of depth and great 3D rest of way. Really excellent sequence, even if it were in 2D.
