The Limited Edition package was released first. I expect that a streamlined version with the same disc in a regular keepcase will follow in a few months.

The UK edition is Region Free, and still available as far as I know. People were ordering it and it was being shipped after they got their US cancellation emails.

You may also want to check retailers like Bull Moose, DVD Planet, etc.

The more prominent ones seem to have run out of their allocations already, so the off the beaten track ones may still have a copy or two.
N/M.just checked both those and they're out.

Ordering from the UK is probably the only option at this point, unless you wait for a possible book/case-less release later in the new year.

Jeeze, how many copies of Apartment did they press, three? I don't think I've seen anything sell out that quick.

I placed my Amazon pre order the day after it went live and they cancelled me. I tried a couple other websites when I found out and they all cancelled me.

I feel like SOMEONE is gonna get this in stock again, so I'm going to keep my eyes peeled.

Arrow really fucked up. Has something like this ever happened with them in the past? What are the odds more get pressed?

Re: The Official Arrow Blu-ray Thread

I know with other labels, when they announce a fixed limited edition #, that's all their contracts allows for and no more. Maybe they can renegotiate another run, but it's a deal they have to go back to the studio for.

I have a hard time believing that Arrow would absorb costs associated with creating the "exclusive" 4K master and be OK with only being allowed to sell 3000 units. It would be baffling if they didn't have a second non boxed release in their contract.

That said, the book looks to be substantial with some great BTS photos, and the whole package is a very classy and beautiful affair for what is IMO, one of the best movies ever made.

It looks to still be available from Amazon UK, so if I were a fan who had his order cancelled here, I wouldn't be wasting a second to place a UK order.

Several times, I refuse to order limited Arrow releases through Amazon because of it. I always go with Diabolik DVD if there's a chance of an item selling out.

I do love Arrow for the work they do, but I'm becoming increasingly hesitant to buy their releases as the last 2 or 3 I've bought have come up on Amazon Prime for streaming. I know in most cases you don't get the extras and so forth, but it's still a kick in the pants.

I went looking for the Apartment release at my local Fry's - for some reason, they seem to get all the Arrow releases. I browsed their shelves, and sure enough, they had almost every Arrow release you could imagine, even some out of print limited edition ones. But alas, no Apartment...

That happens fairly often with these boutique labels. The studios think putting a movie temporarily up for free drives interest in purchasing the physical version.

For those that missed the UK edition when it went out of print -- or, like me, had it go missing in the mail or into the hands of an unkind neighbor -- Arrow is releasing their special edition of DEEP RED (minus the CD) in the U.S. on April 10. Bit pricey, considering the UK 3-disc could be had from Amazon for under $25 US in the early running, but maybe it will drop.

Wes Craven's "Last House on the Left" (1972) is getting the Arrow LE treatment. 2 disc Blu-Ray set with a good slate of new extras, and most (but not all) of the old extras.

No, UK only:

Extras sound like they're ported over from the SE DVD. It's all old archival material.

Olive Films released a version of Dark Blue back in 2015.

It's missing the Shelton commentary and Necessary Force featurette.

Has The Vampire Doll ever been released on home video in the U.S.? I can't find any trace of it if it has.
