Direct screen rips from Bride of Re-Animator:
http://doblu.com/2016/04/12/bride-re...lu-ray-review/ The older commentary is a lot of fun. |
Remind me again what the best bet for the original Re-Animator on BD is?

Yeah, you are right. I considered pre-ordering it a month or two ago and decided to hold off. Then when I checked the other day and it was 39.99, I decided to look elsewhere for it and got it from Best Buy. I should have just pre-ordered it in the first place.

Here are some Screencaps between all the different releases out right now including ones with the 'Integral Cut'. Mostly comes down to the releases from Capelight (Germany) and Second Sight (UK). http://caps-a-holic.com/c_list.php?c=753 |

I originally pre-ordered it at 27.99 at Amazon, but then I was able to get it for 25.50 (or thereabouts) at a recent Deep Discount sale. After a few days I cancelled the Amazon order. Six hours later DD e-mailed a cancellation of my order. I immediately re-upped at Amazon for 27.99. Not only that, I took the "no rush" shipping option for the $1 credit, and they shipped it "Two-Day" anyway.

Re: The Official Arrow Blu-ray Thread
Never order limited edition items from Deepdiscount. That is playing russian roulette with your chances of receiving the item.

Re: The Official Arrow Blu-ray Thread
Got my Bride of Re-Animator BD from Amazon today! Considering how large the bubble mailer was, I'm a bit surprised this got to me in one piece.
Hopefully I'll get a chance to watch this over the weekend. |
Re: The Official Arrow Blu-ray Thread
Update on Bride of Re-Animator stock via Arrow's FB page:
US RELEASE: Bride if Re-animator is now classed as Out of Print in the US. Stock is still available with some retailers, so if you don't want to miss out please act fast and grab a copy. UK RELEASE: Bride if Re-animator has now sold out via the Arrow Store. Stock is still available at Amazon and HMV so make sure to order your copy soon if you haven't already. |
Re: The Official Arrow Blu-ray Thread
Arrow is damn awesome and hoping they'll release more Classics. Not a care on the planet about the US of A releases. Even though Burger-land is alright o.
It's also about licensing rights for releases, obviously. |
Re: The Official Arrow Blu-ray Thread
I just ordered Bride from Amazon UK, comes out to a little under $27 shipped. I didn't expect it to sell out so fast, I was hoping to get it cheaper with a B&N coupon or something, but I don't want to miss out on the LE.
|
Re: The Official Arrow Blu-ray Thread
..I originally bought bride from b&n and it took forever to get here, when It finally arrived it was a Shirley temple collection dvd..how do you screw that up so bad?...when I called the they were naturally out of stock on bride so I just ordered it from arrow uk...I should have done that in the first place and saved myself a lot of aggravation...aargh!
|
Re: The Official Arrow Blu-ray Thread
Bride will be getting a non-limited release as well, right?

Thanks for your email. I can assure you that this is no printing error and this is how it is supposed to look like. It's all part of the design. |

Re: The Official Arrow Blu-ray Thread
Anybody pickup Outlaw VIP? I got it cheap from Family Video, but so far the first 2 films have put me to sleep.

Re: The Official Arrow Blu-ray Thread
I'm thinking of getting Battles without Honour...... through Amazon UK because I don't think my Amazon US order will go through. According to the Arrow website, this set is Region 1 & 2 for the DVDs. Does that mean they were encoded with NTSC or will I get PAL DVDs?
|
Re: The Official Arrow Blu-ray Thread
Just found out my local physical media shop is gonna have a couple late arriving Bride of Reanimator sets. :rock2:
Looks like I win this round, Secondary Market. |

Re: The Official Arrow Blu-ray Thread
I know this is a USA Arrow thread but I did a search and couldn't find a 88 Films thread but figured it was kinda related to the Arrow importer lovers like me:
https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/8...2/x/14274777#/ Sorry if this is the wrong place to put this but I couldn't find anywhere that was more relevant and didn't want to start a new thread. I looked in the international section but couldn't find anything and that area is dead as a doornail. but I thought someone here may have an interest if they hadn't seen it over a BD.com. |

Hope this means that Arrow will start releasing more New World pictures and we can get Hellraiser 1 & 2 in the States. |
