Bummed there is no domestic 4k steelbook!

This comes out on Digital HD/UHD Tuesday 2/26. The digital editions will also include the bonus features.

how do you know that? doesn't show on vudu...

I'm leaning towards buying the digital version of this at Fandango and cancelling my Best Buy Steelbook as the cover isn't great and there isn't a 4K version.

I pre-ordered this. I don't even have a 4k setup yet but had to have it in UHD.

Probably. Will definitely port to Movies Anywhere apps.
I do have several movies with Special Features that are on the MA app but not on Vudu Typically FN has none.

Better buy this on disc week 1. Because according to the Samsung thread, you're only hurting the disc market if you don't.

I don't understand the mentality of buying digital only. If you are going to spend $20 on digital, why not spend the exact same amount on the blu ray that comes with a digital copy? Even if you don't want the disc, sell it, donate it, use it as a coaster, etc.

I don't want to get off topic because the Samsung thread seems to be covering this issue, but I'm guessing those who want Spider-Man into the Spiderverse, but don't want the disc simply don't have the space for it and don't care about extras.

But, brand spanking new releases like this on Digital are usually the exact same price is the disc.

Fair question. For those that redeemed the Fandango Now Golden Globes coupon during the redemption window, you can get the movie in UHD for $10, and get it three weeks early. For $20 I wouldn't go Digital Only.

I find better value having it 2-3 weeks early. Then I don't have to spend anymore money on it. Set it and forget it.

Well with the FandangoNow Globes code (that you had to enter a month ago or so) got me 50% off. So I bought the UHD digital for $10. I will be importing the 3d version eventually.

If anyone is interested, Vudu will have 4k disc + UHD digital on 2/26. So, you would get the UHD digital movie on 2/26, then the disk will ship when it's released and you'll get a digital code in the disc. No pricing yet.

i still don't understand how Vudu can port the extras when they are not listed on it's site. i have no MA app on tv or anything, so that's not a possibility. i'll just go with physical and digital that comes with it...

I can tell you definitively on Tuesday, long before the Blu Ray comes out if the extras are on the Vudu app.,

Vudu does not support bonus features for Universal and most Sony titles.

Spider-Man Into the Spiderverse does not have extras on Vudu.

Both Amazing Spider-Man movies, Spider-Man Homecoming and Venom all have digital extras on Vudu

If you want to view the extras for this and are digital only, you need to set up a Movies Anywhere account.
