I was going to wait on this one, but given the pedestrian UHD review, I just went ahead and bought the steelbook.

That's what it appears. Only the first few (GOTG2 and POTC5) had 4k codes that redeemed in 4k. The other titles after (Cars 3) were 1080p only.

Maybe Disney is finally fixing these and allowing 4K streams again. They killed it around he time MA launched.

That Best Buy steelbook looks sexy, but sold out online, so gonna try to get there at opening and see if I can nab myself a copy.

Apparently redeeming the 4k code is allowing Thor and Coco to be 4k in VUDU.

Re: COCO: 4k Ultra HD / Blu-ray

But you still redeem the codes through Movies Anywhere, correct?

If you are concerned with 4K streaming, this is a good list to keep handy that will explain where to redeem a code for 4K: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...BbUtHtmh4/edit

If you don't care, you can redeem the code through Movies Anywhere

This is useful for me, thanks! I've just been redeeming through Movies Anywhere, but it's dumb/weird that some have to be redeemed from specific sites.

I don't know if this is malicious by the studios are if they are still getting their bearings with Movies Anywhere platform, but I've been hosed by a title or two not knowing the difference

Price has gone down by $2 across the board on Best Buy so you can price match.

Re: COCO: 4k Ultra HD / Blu-ray

UHD version is $24.99 at Amazon

Amazon Amazon

It was also nice to see that Target adjusted the price on my order before it shipped since it dropped a couple bucks on release week. $23.16 shipped since I placed my order when they had 15% off everything.

Re: COCO: 4k Ultra HD / Blu-ray

I love the Target exclusive packaging. It's so colorful and I love that the book is stored in a slot on the left side of the fold-out digipak similar to early multi-disc Disney / Buena Vista TV-DVD releases (Desperate Housewives, The Golden Girls, etc). I had passed on other Target exclusives for Disney films with story books because the packaging was obnoxious, so I'm glad to see that they switched it up for this release, and hopefully future releases.

I will say, though - I opened up the set and checked the discs, and there was a fingerprint near the outer edge of the underside of the DVD. It was easy to remove, but I thought it was strange.

Does anyone know when release date is for any UK version of 3D?

Re: COCO: 4k Ultra HD / Blu-ray

My local Target was sold out of the UHD and Blu-ray, with just a bunch of DVD copies left. Amazon doesn't have it up anymore through them

Re: COCO: 4k Ultra HD / Blu-ray

Yeah, a few Best Buys near me have it in stock. I'll probably just stop by one this weekend. I wanted the instant gratification at Target, but when it wasn't there I was hoping to just save a few bucks on Amazon.

Of course Amazon and Disney's blood feud spills over into me having a ton of Amazon GCs stockpiled. I did get my order in but have no idea if/when it'll actually get here.

Re: COCO: 4k Ultra HD / Blu-ray

Amazon still has it for $24.99, it's just backordered.

Walmart also has it for $24.99.

My copy from Target arrived today, can't wait to watch it with the kids this weekend.

Re: COCO: 4k Ultra HD / Blu-ray

When I checked last night, Amazon didn't have the ability to add to cart through them. It was only 3rd party sellers. Looks like its available to order again this morning.
