Close Encounters of the Third Kind, 40th Anniversary 4K
Has anyone picked this up? I got the gift box that lights up, and was a little disappointed that apparently only the Director's Cut is remastered, if I'm reading the packaging correctly. I do like the box, though.

Hi all, looking to maybe upgrade from the DVD set to either Blu or 4k but I want to have the book and foldout poster that the DVD set has. Were those brought over to either Blu or 4k releases?

There’s the 4K gift set that has a booklet, although I don’t know if it’s the same one as in previous releases. But the regular 4K release doesn’t have anything to it, just the blu and 4K discs.
This is what the 4k collectors set looks like. I’m not sure what the third disc is, maybe the soundtrack. Someone else I’m sure can confirm.

Hmm, I just thought to look up that 4K set on eBay and the prices are kinda high, but the regular Blu is much cheaper and seems to have the book and poster. I may start watching for a used copy of that.
