Personally, I think it's the worst of the MCU movies. Not terrible by any stretch and probably better than most DC movies, but not all that exciting or interesting. And it's almost all origin story.

I'll have to watch it again when it's released, but I was pretty entertained by this one. And I knew squat about who or what this character was. Sure it's not among the elite, but thought great introduction to a lesser known character to the general public. Visually stunning and pretty fun ride...

I think so. I regret snot seeing it in theaters. This film is long, too. Over 2 hours, I think.

I overall liked it. Not my favorite of the MCU films but still a good time. I think it's safe to say if you generally enjoy the Marvel films you'll like it.

Well, what do ya know? We might actually get a special feature that shows reference to the comic book. We haven't had that for an MCU movie since Phase 1!

For those interested, the Best Buy steel books are available both in-store and shipping.

I received the SB in the mail yesterday and thankfully there were no dents. I haven't had a chance to unwrap it yet.

2D already in store only and the site sees to be having problems searching for these steelbook orders either way. Just hangs when I try to order either one.

Update - both 2D and 3D no longer available for shipping, but I still can't get it to check store availability for some reason.

I agree. I hated Dr. Strange. There is very little plot that isn't completely contrived and it's 90% origin.

Looks like most of the stock is now gone. No option for 3D anymore and 2D only for shipping. Those went quick.

Just picked up the 3D steelbook. It looks awesome, can't wait to watch it this weekend since we missed it in theaters.

I still miss the days of the $20 3D steelbooks, this one came to $35 after taxes :(.

Yeah, my 2d steelie is on the way from Best Buy...should be here today. Doctor Strange I do like, but think it could have been so much better. It's not the worst MCU title, but it's probably in the bottom three. (For me, the worst was Iron Man 2). If I didn't love Doctor Strange as a character, I would have waited on this one for sure. (It's like the Daredevil movie for me in that respects)

Mine luckily arrived with no discernible dents also, even though the package was ripped almost half open. The meager packaging they use to ship these things is completely absurd.

I'll have to catch this one on video since I never got around to seeing it in theaters.

I assume Amazon is in another pissing match with Disney since they have only third-party copies available.

Having just received the standard 3D package I have to say I think this may be the cooler looking packaging option. Love the clear slipcover over the clear inner case. The steelbook is cool looking, but not $$that$$ much cooler looking.

Just my opinion here, but while the 3D case is kinda cool with the clear slipcover, it just pales in comparison to that beautiful embossed multicolor steelbook. I really like it and how it goes with the Guardians walkman and the Ant Man HDD steelbook.

I picked up the regular Target edition that comes with some exclusive digital extras. It was $22.99

Inside there is a code for the movie and also a separate code to redeem the digital extras.

Welp, my copy from Best Buy appears to be lost somewhere between the warehouse and here in Texas...after the 26th, it just says in transit and never getting anywhere. I guess I'll give them a day to see if it moves at all or changes, if not I'm on the horn tomorrow to Best Buy or the Post office I guess.

At least you got yours...mine is officially lost in the mail and they had to refund me this afternoon since they have NO other copies. So frustrated and upset.

Damn, that sucks. But just think if you just get yours late, it'll be free.
