i'm obviously interested in it as i've seen everything else and i could have another opinion. i haven't seen it. i won't get the SteelBook but i might get digital if i can find cheap. so what?

You said that it wasn't a good movie. Not "I heard it was a bad movie" or "word of mouth is that it isn't any good". You implied that you'd seen it. So I was just curious why you would spend money on a movie that wasn't good.

Not to be Debbie Downer, but I guess I'll give a dissenting opinion. I don't care for the bright, liquid metal look they've given everything on that artwork. Doesn't fit with the tone or aesthetic of the movie, in my opinion.

Personally, here in Canada, the Best Buy Steelbooks prices are ridiculous. They are asking $45 plus tax for them which has forced me to just hunt down the regular editions which are $10 to $15 dollars cheaper on release day. Prime example is the Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse which is $45 and sold out but Amazon.ca is selling it for $30.

Didn't see any mention of these in the thread yet...Best Buy put out new limited edition 4K steelbooks for the Captain America movies. I picked up all of them. I really dig the painted poster art style:

I'm waiting to pick those Captain America SBs up as they are really nice.Our store is loaded with them but no one is buying any here at $35. They are priced like new releases.

Strangely enough, they finally dropped the price of the Mary Poppins Returns SB to 29.99. I was going to pick one up with a reward cert but they had spider security tags on them all of a sudden. The only movie in the entire store with a security device.

A FYE exclusive

It comes out this Tues June 11 but the theatrical cut is on DVD and not Blu-ray.

If I didn't already drop $40 on the German mediabook with that art for the cover- and the Theatrical version on the Bd - I'd be looking up the closest FYE to grab it.

Best Buy added the remaining Marvel 4K steelbooks (Iron Man, Thor, etc). At $35 a pop, that's going to be an expensive day for some folks!

That was sold out in Canada when it was first listed and hasn't come back in stock.

Then again for $45 Canadian, I think it was better that way for me so I wouldn't be tempted to pay that price.
