With the Summer movies rolling in over the next couple of months, I thought now would be a good time to start an official thread so folks are aware of all upcoming store-exclusive Steelbooks and can preorder them when available.

I would like this first post of the thread to be Wiki-enabled, but can't figure out how to do that. Hope I can have that added in later.

We can talk about US Steelbooks and Zavvi steelbooks imported from the UK. I just got an imported Jungle Book 3D Steelbook this past weekend and think it's beautiful.

Okay so today we have the Best Buy exclusive Captain America : Civil War Steelbook
It's on sale for $27.99 and includes the 3D Blu Ray. Apparently these aren't scarce

Best Buy has an exclusive X-Men Apocalypse Steelbook on 10/4/16 that unfortunately does not include the 3D copy of the film and is $24.99

Best Buy has a Steelbook for Star Trek Beyond for $24.99. It's pretty but does not include the 3D copy.

Target has an exclusive Steelbook (with lithograph cards) for Finding Dory that goes for $29.99 and includes a $5 Gift Card currently with preorder. Releases 11/15/16. Unfortunately, it does not include the 3D copy.

Might be a good idea to indicate import/alternate releases from abroad. I believe the same steelbook for "Star Trek Beyond" will be available via Zavvi with the inclusion of 3D. Incidentally, I received my two 3D Steelbooks of "Jungle Book" and "Huntsman" from the UK in less time than it took for Amazon to actually ship my last order (which I finally cancelled).

Depending on how much of a anal collector you are, you might want to pick up the Best Buy Steelbook exclusive of TMNT - Out Of The Shadows, coming out next week 9/20/16 for $27.99. I heard the movie was awful, but the Steelbook is a perfect match of the TMNT Steelbook that came out last year.

The steelbook will be $19.99 in next week's ad :)

Not sure how crazy you want to go with this, but Best Buy has several exclusive steelbooks in the next couple months. Jason Bourne (regular & 4K), GOT S6, Independence Day: Resurgence, re-releases of the Underworld movies (that will include movie cash), etc.

I already included GoT and ID Resurgence in the Wiki post. I can add Jason Bourne as well; didn't know about that one yet.

I probably won't add re-releases as they aren't rare or collectable (usually -- the Bourne set recently being an exception), but anyone can edit the Wiki above with titles they think folks might be interested in

Wal-Mart will be selling an exclusive Steelbook for Warcraft coming out on 9/27/16. It is available through Walmart.com for $22.96

I like both steelbooks for Now You See Me as well. I was a little concerned that the first one did not have the extended version (and doesn't state on the cover or the slip) but I was glad to find out when I opened it that it was right there staring at me on the disc.

I just ordered the Seventh Son German Steelbook (I loved the movie when I watched it on HBOGO this past weekend*shrug*) from a seller on Ebay. I did not go for the Film Arena one (limited to 351 copies) because I don't feel like dropping a $100 on a steelbook. Hopefully it's here in a couple of weeks.

Sorry to disparage a Steelbook you guys like. It did nothing for me, but that's just personal taste.

Anyway, I updated the Wiki with pre-order links for Pets, Sausage Party and Kubo and the Two Strings. No listing for Suicide Squad yet. I'm not bothering with catalog titles -- they're almost always readily available.

I'm agonizing over the Kubo listing. That's a good price for a four pack (though I already own the other three -- including a Digital copy) and I want a 3D Kubo. Will have to think on that for a while.

I just wanted to do a quick post of interesting note. The Best Buy exclusive "Labyrinth" 4K UltraHD Steelbook looks to be the (Edit: German Edition). The 4K disc has the German labels on the disc. I'll snap a couple of pics and upload them in awhile. ...I just hope the standard BD is region free. Matte Finish...handsome steelbook but I need to re-evaluate these purchases.
