Is there anyway to watch the Target exclusive features on a TV? I put the Disney Movies Anywhere app on my Amazon Fire Stick but I didn't see them on there.

So on Amazon Fire Stick, it just has the normal special features, but I have another TV with Roku built in, and on that one I can watch the exclusive features. Not sure why they would have different content on different platforms.

I knew going in that this wouldn't be the only release of the film but it's kind of lame of Disney and Abrams to announce deleted scenes becoming available online so soon after the Blu-ray release. Basically telling us that there will likely be a new edition out by the holidays.

I will rebuy The Force Awakens this Christmas if it comes with the theatrical cuts of the Original Trilogy as bonus features.

It's Star Wars. If you thought this would be the only version I have some oceanfront property on Jakku to sell you.

I specifically said in my post I knew it wouldn't be. Just that I didn't think they'd put out new potential special feature material as soon as they did.

I watched this for the first time since seeing it in the theater.
Daisy Ridley is simply radiant in this thing. Her facial expressions.... the wonder in her eyes.... there is more "life" in 20 minutes of her being on screen than all of the PT, and TFA works for me because of it.
I do think, despite Kylo
that he will be redeemed somehow and be spun off into becoming "the hero".
The science behind, and relative ease of destruction of Starkiller base is ridiculous and the biggest let down of the movie, IMO.
Carrie Fisher got slammed for her performance, and while it was a bit wooden, the look on her face when she hugs han goodbye, with her head on his chest.... again, the eyes... spoke volumes to me.
John Boyega looks and has the mannerisms of a black Matt Damon. Once you realize it, you can't unsee it.

I do think, despite Kylo killing Han, that he will be redeemed somehow and be spun off into becoming "the hero".

In regards to Kylo, that was my first reaction when that happened. I think he's going to be the redeemed character, but have to sacrifice himself in the end for something.
Starkiller was dumb. If they only had it doing one planet like the original and Alderan, I think that would had led to a little more seriousness to it. But it firing once missile style and destroying several planets was a bit too silly for me.
Yeah, Fisher isn't the same cute woman as in the originals, but I liked seeing her again, despite her way more wooden performance.
I definitely don't see Boyega in any way shape or form resembling a black Matt Damon. I can easily unsee that. In fact, he's the only new actor in this I see no real added value to. Maybe once we see him in the next two chapters, that'll change.
This is funny, but these points are the ones my wife and I hit on after we saw the movie the first time. These and the fact that the 3D wasn't worth it, but the IMAX was.

I saw it 4 times in the theater, but was anxious to watch it on BluRay at home where you can really focus on everything in the movie. I have to say that I still really enjoy the movie as it moves the whole 2 hours and doesn't stop. TFA has gotten progressively better on each viewing, whereas the PT movies got progressively worse upon each viewing as they eventually became a chore to watch. I finally realized they just weren't working for me, where the opposite is happening where I love watching TFA again and again.
-I think that Daisy Ridley is the reason this was so liked by the OT fans like me. She could have easily been another Hayden or Padme where you didn't give a crap about the character, and then they would lose me for another trilogy.
-The more I watch TFA, the more I love Kylo Ren. HE should have been Anakin Skywalker in the Prequels! I think Adam Driver did a good job of being whiny, being menacing, and yet you still have some sympathy for him cause he knows Rey is more powerful then he is.
-I was worried about the OT big 3, but Han Solo really shined. His great one liners with Chewy were what was missing in ROTJ. So glad now they held off Luke til Episode 8 as it will be more fullfilling to get a film of just him. Sorry guys, but Carrie Fisher just didn't work for me as she just came off wooden. If you watch the documentary, even JJ admits she was very nervous cause she hasn't acted in 10 years and it shows. Hopefully she gets that spunk back for Episode 8.
-Finally BB-8 is great! He could have easily been another Jar Jar and ruined the film, but he made me forget about R2 and C3PO cause he is so cool.
-My ratings were Empire #1, Star Wars #2, Jedi #3 and then The Force Awakens at #4 (The Prequels don't exist to me). But right now I may put TFA over Jedi simply because the middle part of Jedi just comes to a complete halt with the Ewoks, and TFA never stops.

Boy, so much for the "exclusive" Best Buy steelbooks. There must be at least 20 copies at the store I just went to. I can easily see those going on sale sometime in the future.

With the blu-ray disc version being $20 and containing a digital code, is there any reason whatsoever that a sane person would buy the digital version by itself (From Vudu, Amazon, Google, etc.) for $20? Is there something I am missing?

Some people now prefer digital only and don't care for or want a physical disc.

Well, it makes sense to people who live in smaller spaces. Which I never fully understood why in Europe and Asia, physical media sells really well, enough to release a ton of stuff we don't get here in the States. On average, housing over there is smaller than in the US.

Was a nice release. Wish the deleted scenes were more polished so someone could make their own Extended Fan Edit. Not too shabby if I do say-so me-self, chappy chaps.
