Amazon has the release date for the Well Go box set as April 11th now.

Ugh. I was just looking forward to my preorder arriving in 3 weeks.

WellGo has the better packaging, all the extras Arrow has, plus they have exclusive extras from Red Shirt Pictures. I know where my money is going.

Is there any reason to think one will have better video or audio quality than the other?

Not necessarily, although Arrow has said they are going to "tweak" SF's edition of "II" whereas WellGo is simply reissuing that disc in this set.

Arrow Video always has better video compression than Well Go USA.

Supposedly Well Go is using BR-50 discs for the box set, so that should help with compression issues.

That's a really cool looking set. Amazon & Best Buy currently has it for $80, which is probably MSRP.

I'm going to wait a little for a potential price drop. If it drops about $20-25, I'll probably pull the trigger.

I didn't think they had all the extras Arrow has, do they? Aren't there still more to be announced?

I got one!

My In-Store Pickup was ready 15 minutes before they opened. I forgot that unlike the Best Buy where I used to live, my current area has a Best Buy that is pretty on it. They had 7 copies on the floor upon store opening.

So relieved to get this set, as I didn't realize it was going to be limited. Once I saw DiabolikDVD post about their numbers on Instagram, I got a bit worried.

Seriously. Definitely a head-scratcher.

That was really cool of Coscarelli to do that video. I wish more filmmakers were as passionate about the home video release/extras of their movies as he seemed.

I can overlook it being shot vertically as he actually made the time to do it.

It is the first unboxing video I've enjoyed. But seriously, why the hell is the video vertical. Thanks Coscarelli.

I'm going to get my 20 plus bucks back from Best Buy. Now that Amazon charges taxes in Oklahoma, I am going to make as many set purchases as possible from Best Buy for this reason. Amazon usually refuses to retro price match where I have 45 days at Best Buy.
