I seen that but went with BB because of "Pre-Order for $5 in Best Buy Rewards" offer.

Also pre-order "Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation" for the same reason.

Re: Ant-Man 3D Blu-ray/Blu-ray -- 12/08/15

So in the Best Buy ad for next week:

Ant Man steelbook - $27.99
2D version - $17.99
DVD - $14.99

no mention of the regular 3D version that they have this week for $19.99 w/ the $5 reward zone credit. So at this point, I don't know if I can justify the extra $13 for the steelbook. Kinda sucks that's how they are doing it this time around. I guess that's what we can expect going forward now.

Is this the first time a Marvel steelbook hasn't been $19.99 release day? Odd they're pricing it so high.

Maybe they are seeing how high they can price these things and get away with it. GotG sold out right away, I'm pretty sure AoU went fast too. Not Marvel but Fury Road sold right away.

Do you have to order the 3D version in store to get the $5 in reward zone credits?

No, it's advertised on the website too.

Can you order in store? My store isn't available for in store pickup for Ant-Man 3D for some reason.

Nice. Thanks. I tried to order it online, but it doesn't show the store near me. I don't understand how a store wouldn't be available for a preorder. Maybe it would help if I went to the store.

Considering the way they short-ship steelbooks to their stores, seems like most only get about five, it's strange that they would price such a scarce collectible at the same price as the standard edition.

Best Buy damn well better have some decent stock for the SteelBook. I apparently missed the ability to preorder on the web site.

I never did see a Mad Max SteelBook in person. What an incompetently run business.

That's because all of the scampers bought the Fury Road steelbooks and then sold them on eBay for exorbitant prices. I know, because I paid for it.

That's pretty damn cool. Glad I don't collect Steelbooks otherwise I'd be all over that.

The front and inside art complete the hard drive look. Ranks right up there with the GotG Walkman case.

I would probably consider re-buying the older Marvel universe movies if they could come up with these clever steelbook designs for each one. The Ultron case for Avengers 2 just doesn't compare to these other two. But I still bought since it was so much better than the normal case.

Steelbook looks awesome. I didn't see the movie in theaters but decided to blind buy the Steelbook online today, since I'm not sure what stock will be like in local stores. I figure I can probably sell it later if I don't love the movie.

Went to Target and got their exclusive version pricematched to Best Buy for 19.99. Really looking forward to watching it this weekend since I didn't see it yet.

Very limited stock of the steelbook at my Best Buy. 1/3 were gone within the first 5 minutes.

I've heard that the "exclusive material" is "streaming" rather than on the disc. True?

I got my standard combo pack yesterday from Best Buy. Looking forward to revisiting this.
