I notice that the Best Buy copies have a sticker that says "45 Minutes of Exclusive Content". Does that mean Exclusive to Best Buy or Exclusive to Blu Ray? I wonder about the labling since there's another sticker that says "Best Buy Exclusive Collectible Lenticular Packaging" when of course it's in a Steelbook instead.

Hopefully if the audio issues on this release are as bad as some people are saying, they will eventually send replacement discs with fixed audio. I already picked up one of the steelbooks and I'm not returning it to wait for a possible re-release.

Looks like the stores sold out of the steelbook pretty quick, and now the Ultron edition is also sold out online. So just the Vision edition remains, shipping only.

There's a Target Cartwheel for this for 10% off, but I was there today, and they were clean out of it on all formats.

Picked up a copy last night at Target, Price-Matching Best Buy. I was going to wait on this, but the Price-Match and selling off the Digital Code, made the price alright for me.

I just saw it regular at my local AMC (Presumably DD 7.1?). I wouldn't go so far as to say Audio issues, but I found the mix a bit odd and some dialogue occasionally muffled.

i find the 3D version rather drab and dark. the audio is ok, nothing spectacular, but just underwhelmed by the whole experience. too bad.

Watching it now, I feel like the dialogue is actually fine. It's just that even after cranking the volume up, nothing roars with the sort of ferocity you'd expect in a movie like this.

Whew! So glad I'm not the only one who thought the audio sounded low on the BD. The bass was especially disappointing. There was little boom and no floor rumbling. Hope there's a replacement disc coming. I thought the 3D version looked really good for a conversion. Not much pop out, but a lot of depth. I didn't find it dark, but then I always boost the brightness a bit whenever I watch a 3D movie.

Picked up the regular single disc edition at Target for $17.99 minus the 10% cartwheel app discount.
I don't have a 3D BD or TV, so no point getting the 3D edition. Plus the extras are exactly the same.

However, that appears to be endemic to the movie's original sound mix, not a disc error. My assumption is that the mix was rushed because the movie's production was behind schedule.
I would not expect replacement discs for this. The movie's entire soundtrack would have to be remixed. The studio will no doubt brush off complaints with the excuse that the sound mix is the "filmmakers' intent."

I guess in the hands of IMAX - they tweaked the audio to better effect - the sound had tremendous oomph and when J.A.R.V.I.S. speaks - it's given height and better dimensionality - it was quite an impressive effect. And I had no problem hearing the dialogue.

I don't know if this is the case at the AMC IMAX theaters, but prior to the digital IMAX rollout, all IMAX theaters had unique audio mapping that required a different audio mix from the regular releases. It may be this is still the case.

That's still true. IMAX now has its own 12-channel immersive audio format that's proprietary and different from Dolby Atmos, Auro 3D or DTS:X.

We used to get all the IMAX soundtracks on discs with WAV files. We'd import them into a computer and sync it based on frame count. If you misframed the film while threading it, the movie would be out of sync. No way to fix it until the next thread.
