word is that the French and UK are Region B and A playable. The German blu is region B locked - yeah, go figure.

I just got my collector's edition in the mail! I got it in 5 days. That's the fastest I've ever gotten a package from Amazon UK (I'm in California). Someone on the "other" forum said that the "Shadowing The Third Man" & "Filmmaker's Appreciation" features wouldn't work on Region A players because they were encoded in PAL. I tried the features with a Region A player and they worked without issues. I'm really happy with this edition and now I don't feel bad that I'm missing the CC Blu Ray in my collection.

UPDATE: I'm going to have to eat my words here. My LG player played the two features in question without a problem but I just popped the disc in a Sony player and they wouldn't work. If your player can handle the PAL conversion, then there shouldn't be any problems.
