Strange. I'm usually the one that can't see them. It's an embed from Facebook. Let's see if a Twitter one works for you.

So what’s the preferred cut of The Day After to see after not seeing tv version since it was on? Theatrical add anything more?

Anyway, about Kino. Regrettably, the Director's Cut of Color of Night looks and sounds much worse than the theatrical cut. The DC is the only way to see Bruce Willis' little willy, and the plot, such as it is, is more coherent in that version.

What I'm saying is that the Director's Cut is the better version of the movie*, but it both looks and sounds worse than the (inferior) theatrical cut.
*"Better" being a relative term. Both versions of the movie are terrible. But the Director's Cut has more nudity and a slightly more coherent plot.

The Mill Creek disc has comparable video quality to the Kino DC (i.e. awful), but the audio is decidedly better. I don't know what happened with Kino's DC, but it sounds like listening to a cassette tape while your speakers are underwater.
Kino's theatrical cut has better video than either DC (not great, but definitely better) and the audio is adequately listenable.

The theatrical version of Color
Of Night hasn’t been on any video format before to my knowledge, I don’t think there was even one made for Blockbuster, who wouldn’t have carried it if it had been rated NC-17. I projected it on film when it was out and it was hilariously bad, movies like this are why The Room doesn’t do anything for me as a lover of bad movies.
