54 minutes after I began, I'm the proud future-owner of an overpriced movie I recall fondly from my childhood. I hope the transfer is up to snuff after all the effort.

Is everyone guaranteed a copy in late January if they placed a order today?

I never purchased a item from their site before.

Yay, order completed. Insanely happy I will not have to go through this again anytime soon, what an exhausting process.

JeffTheAlpaca, I suspect that if you placed the order in the first 90m, you are 110% good. I would hazard a guess that once they assess how many orders made it though today, the limit will quickly be changed from 3 to 1 per customer over the next day or two, and it may actually sell out in a week or so.

The Blob ultimately sold out, and that was a 5000 unit run, but it was much less stressful to pick up The Blob.

Just wait until next year when Fox gives Twilight Time the rights to the unaltered Star Wars trilogy, limited to 3,000 copies of each movie.

At the very least, perhaps the response will have Twilight Time rethinking special editions of some other sold-out titles. Of course, assuming the studio in question is willing to play ball.

We still have "First Men in the Moon" and the 4k of "Journey to the Center of the Earth" in February to order.

I was out of the office when the sale went live, but I got my order in just now with no hiccups.

Eh, what the hell. The price may sting, but this is easily in my top ten favorite horror movies. Wasn't willing to pay $30+ for the original blu-ray, but at least this one has some special features.

Re: Fright Night 30th Anniversary Edition (01/20/15)- Yep, Twilight Time

Based on that cover, it looks like the first release. So are those going to drop in price now on EBay? Or will they still fetch a premium?

Re: Fright Night 30th Anniversary Edition (01/20/15)- Yep, Twilight Time

Seems like somebody posted it was sold out, but I supposedly just ordered one. Site said limit of one per order. So much for my idea of buying 3 and selling the others to pay for the first.

Better one than none I guess.

There are supposedly less than 1000 copies left. I would not wait to order if you want it, this will be sold out within the next day.

Where did they say 1000? I thought it was 1500.
