Crazy! That's huge, huge, huge news.
Unfortunately, I already have most of the series on Blu-ray. Hopefully at least some of this stuff will be available individually to take out some of the sting.

I wish they didn't include the Zombie films. I'm guessing it's going to mostly be a repackage of all the different discs already released.

Echo Bridge had the rights to 6-8, I assumed Lionsgate would have gotten those rights. Is this a collaboration between Anchor Bay, Shout and Lionsgate?

I realize there is some never before released material for some of the later films, but eight years into this format and we've already seen double and triple dips on some of these films and yet we still don't have one release for the original Phantasm.

I don't think so. Universal owns the rights to 2 and 3. My guess is that Anchor Bay, Shout, and Universal came to an agreement to use the Shout discs. Unless this is a true triple dip and Shout lost the rights while Universal licensed it out to Anchor Bay.

Seems to good to be true.
I'm assuming they have licensed Shouts Halloween 2 and 3.

Makes sense that Amazon jumped it. I was going to say this is HUGE news and all the websites have been really quiet about it.

I will be getting this on day one but isn't there going to be a part III made that fits between the second and fourth films in place of Season Of The Witch? So this will only be "Complete" in the George Lucas definition of the word.

I'd probably be more excited for this if I didn't just get around to picking p the Scream Factory Halloween 2 and Halloween III: Season of the Witch blu-rays. (You can thank me for this announcement, guys!)
All told, I'm not terribly interested in this, especially at that price. I'm mildly curious about the producer's cut of Halloween VI even though I highly doubt there's any way to polish that particular turd. To be honest, I've disliked every Halloween movie that came after IV.

That sort of sucks. I have most of them already except for Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers andHalloween: Resurrection and don't want to double dip just for those to, but really want The Producers Cut of The Curse of Michael Myers. Hopefully that's released separately.

No, that's a sequel to the Rob Zombie films.
