Well it's a really good short. Heck, you might even come around to liking The Dark World more as well (not because of the short, but because you now own the movie and might watch it again and have a better reaction)!

Once you get to the redemption page, you get a choice of a provider. I don't remember all the choices but some were Itunes, Amazon, Vudu...

Code is also good for Disney Movie Reward points. Double this week.

You can choose to redeem it through iTunes, Google Play, Vudu (which I hope means it becomes available as a regular Ultraviolet title, because that's what I chose), Amazon, or something called Disney Anywhere.

I'm actually hoping you're right about the latter. The same thing happened to me with IM2. I still find it the weakest in the trilogy but no longer outright hate it.

Thanks, but I'll wait.

That might not be a good idea. I made the mistake of waiting for the 3D release of IM3 to go down and instead it went up.

Yeah, what's up with that? I thought the movie wasn't that great and yet it's sold out at a lot of places.

Hey, at this point, whatever moves units of physical media. I didn't think it was that great either, but clearly audiences like it well enough and the Marvel name sure sells these days.

Re: Thor: The Dark World - 2/25/14

Picked this up at Walmart tonight for $18.96. After I bought it, I noticed an "Only at Walmart" sticker on the front that says:

Exclusive bonus content:

"Loki the God of Mischief" with purchase of this 3D Blu-ray Combo Pack

Must have VUVU account to use code inside. Expires 08/25/2014
Was this supposed to be a 3D exclusive, or did it come with all copies of the blu-ray? I got the standard, non-3D one, and it included a code.

Looks like I'll have to set up a VUDU account...

Plus, remember when we were believing that the studios were cutting back on special features? The TV promos I keep on seeing for this can't help mentioning "Over 3 hours of extras".

Re: Thor: The Dark World - 2/25/14

You guys weren't kidding about "All Hail The King". It's fantastic. I might even prefer it to excellent "Agent Carter".

I was watching the main feature earlier (had to stop it 36 minutes in as I'm tired from work) and must admit I was enjoying far more than when I saw it at the theater. The same issues are present, dragging the feature down in my eyes, but I was shrugging them off more readily. I suppose being unburdened by the shackles of expectation help considerably (as had been the case with IM2).

Or you can pick it up on EBay where it's now selling from $40-60.

I really liked All Hail the King too. Kind of helped ease my distaste for Iron Man 3.

All Hail the King was excellent.

Loved the mid-credit stinger, too.

They're probably charging me for all the (justifiably) negative things I've said about Frozen, so it ends up as a wash.

Haven't seen Frozen yet. What didn't you like about it? Or is it simply because of the lack of a 3D release in the US?

Re: Thor: The Dark World - 2/25/14

Got the BD from the Disney Movie Club. Needed to use up to that commitment. But... Holy fuck. AHTK was fucking awesome.

They better add to that bit. They ended it right where they wanted to salivate at the information you already had.

Fuck. I... Think that may have been the best One-Shot. Which almost doesn't say much cuz they've all been mediocre, while slightly interesting. EXCEPT for Agent Carter... Who really needs her own show cuz she's that much more interesting than that SHIELD piece of crap. I hope that little news bit of that being a possibility does happen cuz her short ended with a very interesting lead into bigger and possibly better things. Plus...Howard Stark and Dugan... Love it.

After seeing AHTK, I really don't know why they don't make One-Shots for theaters. I'd love to see the better quality stuff like AHTK and AC before a Marvel movie. Though... It would suck if it wasn't good too. I'd be game for stuff like this being played before the movie.
