I've never gotten one from France but I think they're usually Region B a lot of the time.

Some are some aren't. My copy of Mean Streets is the French import and that one is region free. I guess it depends on the distributor in that country.

It is likely that SORCERER in the US is out-of-print already. Searches will reveal very pricey items in the marketplace, and the remastered DVD seems to be rarer than the Blu, which is still semi-reasonable from Canada. I'm told that Canadian orders are now somewhat delayed due to recent activity in snatching up available copies. The Canadian version is not a digibook.

Hopefully they're just retiring the digibook and will re-release it in a standard case.

Seems like everything is going Out of Print now. True Romance and The Time Machine as well.

Warner's titles from Regency and Morgan Creek are being shifted around- Fox has reissued a few Regency titles on their label.

Yeah, its getting scary...There is no guarantee any of these will be reissued any time soon. I searched high and low for a digibook copy of "Sorcerer" as I had seen it at both Frys Electronics locations in the Phoenix metro area. However, I came up empty handed. According to a department manager, Warner Distribution actually called back the inventory on the titles for which they had lost distribution rights. After reading another forum post I quickly ordered the Canadian standard keepcase version of Sorcerer via Amazon Canada which was less than $10 after the currency exchange... and while I was at it also grabbed the Zodiac and Shutter Island steelbooks at a very sweet price. Unfortunately for many collectors, the Canadian version of "Sorcerer" is now sold out as well.

A week or so ago I found "The Time Machine" at a local Barnes and Noble and the Ace Ventura Double Feature at local retailer, Zia Record Exchange. Today my quest is for True Romance. These titles going OOP are really putting the squeeze on my wallet.

Just a head's up to those wanting to grab the standard keepcase version from Amazon Canada—It's back in stock! It's cheap and there's no guarantee this one will be available much longer once stock is depleted. So I wouldn't hesitate.

^ You're looking at about $16 USD shipped. That's a damn fine price.

You won't be disappointed. Despite some internet complaints about color alterations, the BD looks stunning!

If enough of y'all want the Canadian disc, I can put in an order with a family member who can bring them to me in TX late-April. I can then ship them for a bit cheaper than you'd pay directly from Canada. I'd just want to be covered for the cost of the disc + Tax + shipping from TX to your state.

I had no Idea True Romance went OOP! I've seen it for low prices in the past but always put it off. I guess I should go looking for it.

As for Sorcerer, I'm greatly relieved that it was given to me just this past Christmas.

You can still get it in the Tarantino box-set.

The colors are a bit boosted here and there but some parts of it I'd swear were filmed today cuz the image is that goddamn good.

Sucks we never got those features that Friedkin told us about.

I noticed that, but I think I'm only lacking one other film from that set. Decisions, decisions.

I actually have that collection, still sealed (w/ slipcover to boot!). I haven't sold anything on eBay in forever now, but this is pretty damn tempting...

Any takers

Don't get too excited. I see listings for $200, but no completed deals for that much.

If I'm wrong I would be tempted as well. Not my best impulse buy ever. Already had all 3 on DVD but got it to reach a free shipping minimum.

Ordered a copy of the Sorcerer from Amazon.CA before it went out of stock.

Here's hoping it ships!

I'd love something like that for us here.
I bought that sucker. Very nice. Heavy as hell.
