THANK YOU. I've been checking their site forever for the pre-order link. This is almost my favorite Coen Bros. movie, very slightly behind Fargo and NCFOM.

The Hudsucker Proxy and Crimewave both debuting on Blu within weeks of each other? That's too good to be true.

This was my reaction to seeing the date. Now if only we could get Peter Weir's Fearless announced, if only to get that movie in OAR...

You know... for kids.

Great flick but my wife hates it.

I'll get it anyways.

This is one of the last DVDs I've been holding on waiting for a BD. It's a must have for me, one of my favorite films ever.

One of my Holy Grails. I'd never thought I'd say this: Thank you, Warner Archive!

I know we're all film buffs here, but with much interested I can't believe this wasn't a big enough title for a general release.

It does seem a bit odd. I would think the Coen's have enough of a following that a wide release would be justified.

It's been a while since I've seen it, but I remember being a bit bored with it. However, I will give it another chance.

So will this ever be available through other channels? I like the movie, but I don't pay $20 for catalog titles.

Not first party...

This is the purpose of the Warner Archive program... To release titles that would not be successful through normal retail channels, since not enough people would buy them. (Just like stuff being licensed to Twilight Time.)

Re: The Hudsucker Proxy - Febuary 26th

When are the studios going to realize that we're entitled to their intellectual property at bargain-bin pricing?
