FYC should've been on Blu years ago. I will be getting that.

Joan Crawford always look mean as shit!
Even when she is smiling she looks evil.

And I tried to pick the ones with nice smiles. I could have picked much worse.

Did she play the Joker too in the 60's Batman series too?

I am very happy about the complete Thin Man set. I had held off picking up the single WA releases hoping that they would do a set of all the films, now I can retire the DVD set. Plus this will take up less space.

Wow, Just Friends is only getting a WAC BD? I guess a boutique label may pick it up later on for 4K.

Most interested in Quackbusters from that list. I still have the DVD which came in a snapper case.

Apparently these are the cartoons on the Tom & Jerry set (including two bonus Spike & Tyke cartoons).
Makes me wonder if they’ll ever get over themselves – and the previous backlash – and put out a Volume 2 of the remaining T&J cartoons, with or without the controversial ones.

Wasn’t there a problem on the dvd of Magilla not including the opening credits on every episode?

Damn, for a minute there I thought it was "Earth 2." Had to do a double take.

Missed that Daffy Duck’s Quackbusters came out. Might need to grab that one.

Maybe first time in the U.S.?
I don't see another release on Amazon.
Was this the movie where Reynolds was fat with pimples in the beginning?

I think I still have the Polish Blu-ray release from like almost 20 years ago. Don't need the WA unless it were a 4K.

I must be thinking of the Canada Region A release. This new release seems to have extras where the other did not. No word yet if it is a new scan or better bit rate or anything.

If Shout Factory released it again or probably any movie the Shout Factory version would be a upgrade.

Re: Warner Archive goes Blu -- whoddathunkit?
I bought and watched my very first Warner Archive collection DVD and it is, to me, a classic:
Airborne!
This 1993 "classic" teen comedy romance is the greatest in-line skating movie ever made! Is it the only in-line skating movie ever made?! Maybe, but it's always held a sweet spot in my memory bank. Very early performances by Seth Green and Jack Black, plus Edie McClurg leaning waaaaay into Midwest Mom territory and clearly having a blast.
I showed it to my kids last night and they were fascinated by how 90s it was. We counted at least 5 montages and 6 extreme sports (in-line skating, surfing, hockey, BMX biking, skateboarding, and street hockey). Halfway through, they said this is a lot like Rad, which we all saw at Rifftrax Live! in 2023.
It was okay for them, until the big race down The Devil's Backbone. They loved that! They said wow, this is a long race and I said yeah, it's the last 20 minutes of a 90-minute movie. When it was over I said, it's not a great movie, but it's a great race, and they agreed: that race is definitely why this movie even exists.
5 stars, would make kids watch again!
