I believe it gets released by December of this year in the UK.

This'll be a day one purchase for me.

Day 1 for me. Let's see how fast it hits the UK - I don't have a problem importing and then buying the domestic release.

Day fucking 1. And in 3D.

Again...not even Prometheus, Avatar, or Hugo could get me to get those in 3D. Dredd though makes it a lot of fun. It's not better 3D than those 3...which I would call superior 3D...but it's fun as hell w/ it.

I'd be willing to import if it's Region free..hell..I'll get it if it has a badass cover even. I don't give a fuck. Dredd was awesome.

Day 1 as well. If the 3D release is the same price as the 2D I might get it to future proof it, although I don't see myself buying a new TV anytime soon.

Seeing the trailer, I thought it looked horrible, but I kept hearing good things about it. I'll have to check it out.

Ditto here. I probably won't buy a new TV for at least 4 or 5 years, but when I do I'm sure it'll be 3D; they all are now.

The Steelbooks should be the bomb for this release.

If we are lucky enough to get any exclusives, I will buy every version. Will buy every regular version as well, to try to get numbers up. Maybe they will base a sequel if it sells well. Think word of mouth will help more getting people to buy it than going to the shows for it.

That's a lot later than I thought it would be, given how it's doing at the box office.

I went and saw this yesterday and liked it enough. I'll probably pick it up when the Blu-ray hits.

Day 1 for me as well. This is the kind of movie that is crying for an Unrated or Director's Cut on BD. I wonder if it exists?

I don't think there is. Seems like Garland (w/ some suggestion from Urban) really cut out some fluffish stuff like Dredd talking a bit more some different angles,etc. From what I've read this is THE cut.

I honestly can't think of what more could be added to it. It was very well controlled w/ it's violence being violent and gorish elements giving the right punch.

I'll take deleted scenes and some audio commentaries then.

Yeah. This film for sure is the film to make want to get a 3D TV cuz it was so much fun w/ it.

Barebones of any details on this. Same placement image that UK Amazon used. Unlike the UK one though this doesn't mention a 3D BD. I assume that's due to Amazon being Amazon w/ the details. Or that this is simply the 2D BD. Still...hrmmmmmm

January 8th is the date now. I missed this in the theatre, so I'm looking forward to grabbing this from Redbox.
