MOD NOTE:
Everyone, please just ignore posts like "The Avengers was a crappy movie." Responding to it only generates more useless discussion. JGaitan82, you contribute absolutely nothing to this thread. Please go away and stop threadcrapping. This is an official warning. I will consider this matter closed. Please continue discussing the movie and the pending media release. Re: The Avengers - Sept. 25, 2012
and I thought the thread activity was an update confirming the reason the street date was delayed is so we get the extended edition with branching choices in 3D Blu, 2D Blu, DVD, etc.... but now we will need to continue to wonder.. until we actually know .. if there will even be an extended edition..

Re: The Avengers - Sept. 25, 2012
I think all the talk of the extended cut is basically a rumor that spun wildly out of control due to the nature of internet "reporting." One website said, "Hey, wouldn't it be cool if..." and then all the aggregate sites repeated the idle speculation.
That's not to say it won't happen, but I think it's unlikely. |
Re: The Avengers - Sept. 25, 2012
I thought Disney denied the rumor that they would be releasing an extended cut.

Re: The Avengers - Sept. 25, 2012

Re: The Avengers - Sept. 25, 2012
Damn. I gotta get that Target version.

Re: The Avengers - Sept. 25, 2012
I think it's horseshit that you need to buy the 3D version to get all the special features.
Still buying though... who am I kidding? I'm going to give the cashier a most sour look though. |

Yeah. I'd hope it'd be in HD if it was actually good.

Yup probably just clips of the previous movies and how they tie into this one with a little bit of actor participation probably taken from some other special feature.

Re: The Avengers - Sept. 25, 2012
