Rise of the Planet of the Apes, The Social Network and X-Men: First Class were some of the better all-around releases. Taxi Driver was superb. And the best audio mix I might have heard last year was the 7.1 DTS-HD mix from Jurassic Park.

Alien, Aliens, and the LOTR Extended Editions were also favorites.
